The story so far
Why StudyPie exists — and where it is today.
The problem
Notes everywhere, nothing to revise from
StudyPie started with a personal frustration: revision notes scattered across apps, documents, folders and paper. When it came time to actually study, there was no single, structured place to work from — just a mess that took more effort to organise than to learn.
The search
Looking for a tool that didn't exist
Before writing a line of code, we looked everywhere for a platform that could take raw notes and return proper study material — detailed PDFs, flashcards, organised resources. Nothing did the job. Existing tools stored notes; none of them turned notes into something worth revising from.
The decision
If it doesn't exist, build it
StudyPie became the first product of BI Technology Limited. The goal was simple and has never changed: a student uploads their notes, and the platform does the organising — structured, detailed study material built around how students actually revise.
The build
From idea to working platform
The platform was designed and engineered in-house: note uploads, structured PDF generation, flashcards for active recall and subscription billing — everything needed to run StudyPie as a real product, not a prototype.
Today
Live at studypie.co.uk
StudyPie is live and operating as a subscription product, helping students working toward GCSE, A-level and university exams turn their notes into material they can genuinely revise from. Development continues — the platform keeps improving as students use it.
What's next
Growing with its students
The roadmap is driven by the people using StudyPie: better study outputs, more ways to revise and a smoother experience on the devices students actually use. The purpose stays the same — effort should go into learning, not organising.
